Is the force real? Can we influence others with Jedi mind tricks? What does it take to live like a Jedi in the real world?

Join Jediist Masters: Professor Loyd Auerbach, Dr Julia Mossbridge and Brooks Palmer, with an introduction from Daniel M. Jones – Founder of the Church of Jediism, for the answers as they discuss the science behind the Jedi and the power of the force.

Over the course of this two-hour event Professor Loyd Auerbach, Professor Paranormal to his friends, will delve into the psychic side of the Jedi, including a demonstration of real-life Jedi Mind Tricks.

Dr Julia Mossbridge will explore the creative and scientific grounding of the force, its real-life applications and how you can channel this power yourself.

Brooks Palmer will reveal the secrets of decluttering your space and mind so that you have clarity of thought and action.

The event will be kicked off with a keynote video from Daniel M. Jones discussing the history of the Church of Jediism and the lessons it teaches. Daniel will join us live at the end of the event to take questions on Jediism and the science of the Jedi. We’ll also be showing artwork, inspired by the force, from acclaimed artist, and Jediist Master, Michael David Ward.

This event carries a small cost of $15 to attend, this will guarantee you a seat – we’ll also be including a free copy of the Church of Jediism founder’s, Daniel M. Jones, new book BECOME THE FORCE for all attendees.

“New” Haunted Location — and the Place for Chocolate Supplies in the Bay Area

Take a look at Angela Hill’s article on a relatively “new” haunted location — Spun Sugar in Berkeley, CA.  http://www.mercurynews.com/bay-area-living/ci_19945402

While the presence of the ghost isn’t that new (but also not that old — only for a few years),  awareness of the shop as a haunted place is new.

By great coincidence, Food Network Magazine’s current (February, 2012) issue also mentions Spun Sugar as the place to buy chocolate supplies.  It’s where I’ve been going to get mine — even before I learned it had an extra presence.
